Abstract: En los últimos años, la diversidad y su gestión se han convertido en una característica de las organizaciones modernas y posmodernas. Diferentes prácticas se han extendido en todo el mundo centrándose en la organización y el manejo de la inclusión y la exclusión de diferentes grupos, como hombres y mujeres, heterosexuales y homosexuales, personas con diferentes antecedentes raciales y étnicos, edades y (des) capacidades. Sin embargo, aunque cada vez más reconocido como importante, los discursos de la diversidad son multifacéticos y no exentos de controversia. Además, las prácticas de gestión de la diversidad tienen el potencial de reproducir tanto la inclusión como la exclusión. Este libro presenta los fundamentos de la organización y gestión de las diversidades, ofrece análisis multidisciplinarios, intersectoriales y críticos sobre temas clave, y abre nuevas perspectivas para avanzar en el debate sobre la diversidad. Los colaboradores son un equipo de destacados académicos de diversidad de todo el mundo.
